Determination of the thermal state of the GTU shaft

Abstract

The study is devoted to the research on the thermal state of the middle hollow shaft of a high-power gas turbine unit (GTU) using a software package for 3D numerical thermogasdynamic modeling. A computational study of the determination of heat transfer coefficients (HTC) on sections of the shaft surface for the case of GTU operation in nominal mode using various techniques has been carried out. As a result of calculations, a general picture of the air flow, the field of parameters of the air surrounding the shaft and the temperature of the shaft were obtained and HTC was determined on the surface areas of the middle hollow shaft
