Abstract

Under conditions of ever-increasing traffic intensity, waiting at intersections makes an increasing contribution to the total travel time, which differs when crossing the intersection in the forward direction and when turning onto the road being crossed. Therefore, it is necessary to take into account delays at intersections as accurately as possible when constructing time-optimized routes. The paper proposes a method for collecting data for analyzing traffic delays at intersections, taking into account the direction of their passage, using both data on the average speed of flow in adjacent sections of the road network, obtained from traffic monitoring services of mapping services, and traffic analysis data of automobile transport using a computer vision system. An information system implementing the proposed method has been developed, based on a three-level client-server architecture with a data server and an application server, including tools for collecting, analyzing, visualizing and storing data on the movement of motor vehicles at intersections. doi 10.54708/19926502_2024_28410634
