Abstract

Influence of equal channel angular pressing on strength and fatigue of aluminum-based alloy AK4-1 was studied in the work. Transmission electron microscopy was used for determining the average grain size, shape and size of precipitated particles. The ultimate tensile strength and fatigue endurance limit values in ultrafine-grained (UFG) and coarse-grained (CG) samples were compared at 20 and 175 оС.
