Abstract

Fine-dispersed powders of brazing (less than 40 microns) brands VPr24, VPr50, VPr36 and VPr44 for vacuum diffusion brazing, obtained by method of atomization of melt at a facility HERMIGA10/100VI are investigated with regard to obtain high-tech semi-finished product in the form of self-adhesive tape on an organic binder. It is shown, that the obtained fine-dispersed powders when spraying by cold and hot gas have low oxygen content, good wettability and spreadability in the studied range of the granulometric distribution and provide high packing density and the minimum amount of organic binder in the production in the form of thin tapes. Brazing with application of such type of tapes ensures high strength characteristics of the brazing joints on the level of 0,8-0,9 of base metal.
