Abstract

This paper describes the results of investigations of changes in the microstructure and microhardness of bearing steel SH15 after combined thermomechanical treatment (TMT) at each stage of the experiment. It is shown that the end result is the microhardness increased to 70 HRC, also removed the carbide heterogeneity and decreased the average grain size. High efficiency and performance of the method allows to create on its basis technology for our production of bulk ultrafine-bearing steel billets SH15.
