Abstract

Summarizes the research results of the propeller propulsion acoustic characteristics from the point of view of evaluating the energy dependency required for the development of empirical and semiempirical noise models. Experimental data were obtained during the tests of the An-2, Yak-18T, MAI-223M, MAI-890, MAI-890U, F30 aircraft and two unmanned aerial vehicles with piston engines. The influence of flight conditions on the energy characteristics of the acoustic field of propellers is studied. It is shown that the increase in the number of blades leads to a decrease in the acoustic efficiency of the propellerengine power plants.
