Abstract

The paper presents the results of a study of dental and orthopedic titanium implants with a nanocomposite coating containing amorphous diamond-like carbon. It was found that films based on diamond-like carbon increase the biocompatibility of implants and reduce the risk of rejection during their fixation in the bone bed by suppressing the growth of biofilms.
